Document Repository

Welcome to the WebWob.com document repository.

This repository was created to provide a drop point for various documents, on any subject of interest. It is ordered alphabetically by a vb script (listed on the page).

Be aware that some documents (vbs files) should be saved to disc rather than run directly, by right clicking and choosing ‘Save As’ or similar.

The following is an example Grinder script aimed at CI with Jenkins. It contains all the techniques I needed for a typical JSON service test:
grinder_example.py.txt

There are several vbs scripts above, for creating random data, random unique data etc. This next script takes a file as input and randomizes the order of the lines to an output file. Very handy for mixing up input data into a logfile replay script for example:
random_file_from_file2.vbs

This next script reads in a csv file and builds a new file based on one field multiplied by a count in another field - used for expanding url calls from an omniture report:
create_data_from_csv.vbs
